BidReady by SelfServe

Privacy Policy

Effective October 1, 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how BidReady currently handles information when you use the service. SelfServe is currently an individually operated project and may later be reorganized as a business entity.

2. Information you provide

Free readiness checks run in your browser and the solicitation text is not sent to our server by the free-check feature. If you choose the $9 paid checklist, the solicitation text you submit is sent to SelfServe so the paid checklist can be generated.

3. Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number through BidReady. Stripe may process transaction information such as payment details, billing information, email address, purchase amount, and related identifiers as described in Stripe’s own policies.

4. How paid solicitation data is used

Paid solicitation text is used to verify the purchase, generate the checklist, and provide the requested service. The current implementation stores compressed solicitation data with the Stripe customer record temporarily so the paid fulfillment page can retrieve it after checkout.

5. Retention and deletion

We aim to keep paid solicitation data only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the purchased service and operate the early product. Because the current MVP uses Stripe-hosted customer metadata for fulfillment, retention may also depend on Stripe’s systems and applicable retention requirements. Do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential credentials, payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other information that is unnecessary for the checklist.

6. Service providers

BidReady uses third-party infrastructure and payment services, including Vercel for hosting and Stripe for payment processing. Those providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and under their own applicable policies.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and operational measures appropriate to this small early-stage service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Data minimization is an important part of the current design; users should provide only the solicitation information needed for the requested check.

8. Cookies and analytics

The current MVP does not intentionally require an advertising cookie or user account to run a free check. Hosting, security, and payment providers may process technical or transaction information as described in their respective policies.

9. Your choices

If you have a question about information associated with a purchase or want to request deletion of information that we control, email support@selfserve.dev. Some information may need to be retained where required for payment, fraud prevention, security, accounting, or legal purposes.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
